This document outlines how Thea Stone and related third parties use your data if you sign up for any mailing list, book sessions, or engage in any other offering by Thea Stone.

Introduction

As an Embodiment Coach, Thea works with several different communication platforms and sales outlets for her offerings. She rarely takes any payment or info directly from people. Thea works through Substack, YouTube, Eventbrite, Ko-fi, and Zoom. In most cases, the platforms and communication channels that she uses store your information so that she doesn’t have to. Often, Thea doesn’t even have access to it for your privacy and security.

Thea is a person of high integrity and values, with the utmost respect for the privacy of her donors and followers.

Thea Stone is operating “in gift,” through donations, not running a traditional business. She communicates directly only with occasional, tailored offers on live events, 1-on-1 coaching sessions, content posts, and important news or changes to her offerings.

We (you and Thea) might also use private messaging via, for example, WhatsApp to discuss gifts, connect in friendship, and for Thea to respond to your queries.

Information Collected

To follow through on any sign-up, booking, or any other offering, you have to provide certain information to Thea. To do that, you must permit Substack, YouTube, Eventbrite, Ko-fi, or Zoom to gather your info and then pass it to me.

Why Thea Needs Your Information and How She Uses It

Thea follows specific legal routes (as per each platform or communication facility that she uses) to gather, utilize, and share your information, including these:

When you’ve provided consent (which you may rescind at any time), for example, when you subscribe or donate to Free To Feel.
As required to provide my offerings, such as when Thea uses your information to fulfill your gift, to settle any dispute, or to provide you with support
If necessary to comply with any legal requirement, court order, or in connection with a legal claim, like keeping information about your gifts if dictated by law in my country
As required for Thea’s legitimate interests, if your rights and interests don’t overrule Thea’s interests, for example:
1. Bettering the Free To Feel offerings – Thea (and related third parties) use your info to provide offerings that you request, and in Thea’s genuine interest to improve her offerings
2. Compulsory conforming with third-party policies and terms, where Thea uses your info as needed to comply with her responsibilities under such policies and terms

Thea shares your personal information for a few select reasons and only in particular circumstances, such as these:

Compliance with laws: Thea might gather, utilize, keep, and share your info if she has a genuine understanding that she is obliged to:
1. Engage in any legal process or to respond to government requirements
2. Enforce my agreements and/or my terms and policies
3. Avoid or look into or to tackle fraud or any other unlawful practices, security, or technical problems arising
4. To protect the rights, property, and security of Thea’s donors or other involved parties (including Thea herself).

Data Retention

Thea holds onto your private info only for as long as it’s necessary to bring you her offerings and as outlined in her Privacy Policy. However, she might have to keep this info to follow legal and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

Thea handles your information through third-party hosting in the US (or other jurisdictions), as this is where some of the platforms she is using are based. This means that Thea might be moving your personal info to a territory with different data protection and government surveillance laws than those in your country.

Your Rights

If you live in certain jurisdictions, like the European Union, you have certain special privileges related to your personal info. Some of the rights are general, but certain rights apply only in a few specific situations, like those outlined below:

Access: You have the privilege of accessing and asking for a copy of any personal info of yours that Thea has by contacting her directly (via the message button below).
Alter, relinquish, erase: You also have the right to change, restrict Thea’s use of, and/or have your personal info deleted in full. Apart from special conditions (such as when Thea is obligated to store records for legal motives, as described above), she’ll mostly be able to delete your personal information in full, as requested.
Objections: You might object to:

2. Getting promotional messaging from Thea, even after giving her your consent to be contacted.
In this case, Thea will delete your personal data unless she has legitimate grounds to keep using the data or if it’s required of her to keep it for legal reasons.
